Veel van deze materialen en technieken hebben een bewezen negatieve impact. In plaats hiervan maken wij zoveel mogelijk gebruik van lichaamsvriendelijke materialen en technieken.

In welk opzicht is een verdoving door de biologische tandarts veiliger?

Verdovingen worden gebruikt om tijdelijke gevoelloosheid te veroorzaken in een specifiek gebied van de mond, waardoor pijn tijdens behandelingen wordt verminderd of opgeheven. Het gebruik van verdovingen kan negatieve bijwerkingen hebben. Om deze reden hebben wij ervoor gekozen om gebruik te maken van meer veilige verdovingen zonder articaïne. Deze verdovingen zijn minder giftig en verlaten uw systeem bovendien sneller. Dit is beter voor uw gezondheid.

Waarom gebruikmaken van een verdoving?

Tijdens uw periodieke tandartsbezoek kan het voorkomen dat de tandarts een probleem constateert. In sommige gevallen is een tandheelkundige behandeling noodzakelijk om het probleem op te lossen. Afhankelijk van de complexiteit van de behandeling kunt u ervoor kiezen om de behandeling onder verdoving te ondergaan. De verdoving wordt lokaal toegediend in het gebied van de mond waar de behandeling zal plaatsvinden, waardoor gevoelloosheid optreedt in dit gebied en u vrijwel niets zult merken van de behandeling. Veel mensen ervaren dit als positief en zitten hierdoor met een geruster gevoel in de tandartsstoel. Binnen onze biologisch georiënteerde tandartspraktijk maken wij uitsluitend gebruik van veilige verdovingen.
